“5 Lakh Acts Of Giving” is an awareness campaign to encourage people to give away their unwanted belongings to the underprivileged. Donation bags are distributed to 2000+ apartment complexes in Bangalore to motivate them to donate atleast a bag full of re-usable items (clothes, toys, stationery etc.) that they are no longer using. Donors also received goodies from participating brand partners like Narayana Health, ITC, etc. as a gesture of thanks for making donations.
Snapdeal partnered with SADS to create awareness about “fast moving fashion”. This digital campaign- in which people challenged each other on social media channels to donate re-usable clothes- reached 6M+ people across India and motivated people to give away their old clothes to the ones in need. People from 5 cities donated tonnes of clothes through SADS by availing doorstep donation pickup service free of cost (sponsored by Snapdeal).
