Simple Education Foundation (SEF) is a not for profit organization that’s based out of Delhi. It was started by a group of Teach for India alumni, with this belief that every child deserves to get an excellent education. We work to design & implement holistic learning models that aim to transform and strengthen the public schools from within. Currently, we’re working on four such projects under government and private partnerships, spread across three states.

In 2013, SEF began with an after school Learning Center in Tughlakabad Extension, in South Delhi. We called this ‘Prayogshala’ aka our very own learning lab. This was our first step towards creating an innovative space that strengthens academic learning and build leadership skills amongst students.

Our mission is to create holistic learning solutions that transform the public education space. We aspire to build structures/models that can transform and innovate learning and teaching inside & outside of classrooms. In January 2016, SEF began work on a bold new initiative called ‘Taleem’. This is our first school transformation project in collaboration with the Directorate of School Education, Kashmir.

SEF is also an implementation partner for a unique CSR initiative called ‘Paathshala’, that’s based in rural Uttarakhand. This project is pushed by the community to transform one school in their village, into a robust learning space for their children.
